Location Monitor ("the App") is designed to help users locate, protect, and recover their own Android devices. We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring complete transparency about how data is collected, used, and stored.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Location Monitor application and describes our practices regarding personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

The App may collect the following categories of information after user consent and required permissions are granted:

• Device location data — GPS coordinates collected when location tracking is enabled by the user
• Device identifiers — Android ID used to uniquely identify and register your device
• SIM / network information — Operator data used for SIM change detection, where permitted by the device
• Recovery photos — Front camera images captured only when the user triggers the camera command via Lost Mode
• Cloud command logs — Records of remote commands (e.g., Play Sound, Lock Device) sent to your device
• Push notification tokens — Firebase FCM tokens used to deliver instant remote commands
• Account information — Email address used for authentication and account management
• Battery level & device status — Device health data displayed on your dashboard

We use collected information solely to provide and improve the app's core features. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising purposes.

All data is stored and transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption. We use the following Google Firebase services:

Location Monitor integrates with the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy governing its data practices:

• Firebase by Google — Authentication, database, storage, and push messaging
• Google Maps SDK — Map display and location visualization
• Google Play Services — Fused location provider for accurate GPS data

We do not integrate advertising SDKs or sell data to any third-party advertisers.

Location Monitor is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action to remove that information.

Location Monitor is a device recovery and protection tool designed exclusively for:

• Tracking and protecting devices you personally own
• Helping others locate their own device with their explicit consent and login credentials
• Corporate or family device management where all parties have given informed consent

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email.

Continued use of Location Monitor after any updates to this policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
