Overview

VPN Internet Share ("the App") is developed and operated by Cyber Terrorist Dragon. The App allows you to share an existing VPN or network connection from your Android device to other devices on the same local network via an HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5 proxy server.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. By using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

The short version: VPN Internet Share does not collect, log, transmit, or sell any personal data or proxy traffic. The only external data flow is through Google AdMob advertisements, which are governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Proxy Traffic

The core function of this App is to relay network traffic between your connected VPN and other devices. We want to be explicit about how this works:

  • All traffic passing through the proxy exists only as in-memory byte streams. It is never written to disk, logged, or inspected for content.
  • The App does not perform deep packet inspection, man-in-the-middle decryption, or any form of content analysis on proxied traffic.
  • When the proxy server stops (either by user action or system event), all in-memory connection data is immediately discarded.
  • Connected client IP addresses are displayed in real-time within the App for informational purposes only and are not stored persistently anywhere.
Note on HTTPS traffic: The App supports CONNECT tunneling for HTTPS. This means HTTPS traffic passes through as an encrypted tunnel — the App cannot see or read its contents.
04

Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and app usage data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by Cyber Terrorist Dragon.

  • Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • You can opt out of personalised ads via your device's Ads settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
  • AdMob SDK may collect: Advertising ID, device type, OS version, app interactions, and coarse location.

Meta Audience Network

The App may also show ads through Meta Audience Network. Meta may collect similar identifiers and usage signals for ad targeting purposes, governed by Meta's own data policy.

  • Meta's Privacy Policy: facebook.com/policy.php
  • You can manage Meta ad preferences at your.facebook.com/ads/preferences
Neither Google nor Meta have access to any proxy traffic, connection logs, or the content of any data you transmit through the App.
05

App Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions and uses them only for the stated purposes:

  • INTERNET — Required to create and operate the proxy server socket and relay network traffic.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC — Required to keep the proxy running reliably in the background while you use other apps.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Required for the optional "Auto-start on boot" feature. Only used if you enable this setting.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required on Android 13+ to show the persistent proxy status notification and Kill Switch alerts.
  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — Required for the optional scheduled proxy feature. Only used if you configure a schedule.
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE / CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE — Required to detect network changes and automatically refresh the displayed IP addresses.
No permissions are used to access your contacts, camera, microphone, location, files, or any other personal data unrelated to proxy operation.
06

Data Storage & Retention

All data stored by the App is saved locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and a local Room database. This includes:

  • Connection profiles (name, port, mode, optional auth credentials)
  • App settings (auto-start, kill switch, bandwidth limit, schedule)
  • Session history (start time, duration, bytes transferred, connection count)
  • Proxy logs (stored in memory during the session, exportable by you, cleared when the session ends or you clear them manually)

None of this data is backed up to any server operated by Cyber Terrorist Dragon. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.

Authentication credentials (username and password) you enter for proxy authentication are stored only on your device in SharedPreferences. They are never transmitted to us. We strongly recommend using a unique password not shared with other services.
07

Children's Privacy

VPN Internet Share is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this App in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate action.

The App is intended for use by individuals who understand how proxy networking works and who are responsible for ensuring their use of the App complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

08

Your Rights & Controls

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, most traditional data subject requests (access, deletion, portability) apply entirely within your own device. You are always in control:

  • Delete session history — Use the "Clear All" button in the Session History screen within the App.
  • Delete connection profiles — Remove any profile using the delete button in the Profiles sheet.
  • Clear proxy logs — Use the Clear button in the Logs tab at any time.
  • Uninstall — Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored App data from your device permanently.
  • Ad personalisation — Opt out via your device's Google Ads settings or Meta ad preferences as described above.
  • Disable auto-start — Toggle off in the App's settings at any time to revoke boot permission usage.
09

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the App after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

This policy is hosted at a stable URL. The current version will always reflect the policy in force for the current version of the App available on Google Play.
