Privacy Policy

VPN Proxy is an Android application developed and published by Cyber Terrorist Dragon. This privacy policy applies to the VPN Proxy mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

By using this application, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

VPN Proxy creates a local HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxy server on your Android device. This allows other devices on the same local Wi-Fi network to route their internet traffic through your Android phone's active VPN connection.

The app displays real-time statistics (active connections, bandwidth usage) for your monitoring convenience. These statistics exist only in memory and are discarded the moment you stop the proxy or close the app.

To be completely transparent, here is everything we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Your IP address or geographic location
• The websites you visit or URLs accessed through the proxy
• The content of any network traffic passing through the proxy
• Your VPN provider credentials or configuration details
• Proxy authentication credentials you configure in the app
• Device identifiers, IMEI, or hardware IDs
• Browsing history, search queries, or app usage patterns
• Contact lists, photos, files, or any device content

The following minimal, non-personal data may be processed during normal app operation:

• Crash reports — If the app crashes, Android may generate a crash report. This is handled by Google Play's crash reporting and contains only technical stack trace information, not personal data.
• Onboarding preference — A single boolean flag (onboarding_done) is saved to your device's local SharedPreferences to remember whether you've seen the onboarding screens. This never leaves your device.
• In-memory connection statistics — Connection counts and bandwidth bytes are held in RAM while the proxy runs and are never persisted to disk or transmitted anywhere.

VPN Proxy displays advertisements served by Google AdMob to support free access to the app. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your consent and device settings.

AdMob may collect the following data independently of our app:

• Advertising ID (GAID) for ad personalisation
• IP address for general location (country/region level)
• Device type, OS version, and language settings
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.

VPN Proxy requests only the permissions required for its core functionality:

• INTERNET — Required to forward proxy traffic to the internet through your VPN connection.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE — Used to display your device's local Wi-Fi IP address so you can configure other devices.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Used to detect network connectivity status.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — Required to keep the proxy server running while the app is in the background, with a visible notification.

The app does not request permissions to access your camera, microphone, contacts, storage, location, or any other sensitive device resources beyond the above.

VPN Proxy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is intended for adults and technically proficient users who require VPN connection sharing capabilities.

We take security seriously. The following design decisions protect you:

• The proxy server binds to your local Wi-Fi network only — it is not accessible from the internet.
• Optional username and password authentication prevents unauthorised devices from connecting to your proxy.
• HTTPS traffic is handled as an opaque tunnel — the app never decrypts or inspects TLS-encrypted data.
• No user data is stored on external servers because we operate no external servers.
• Proxy credentials you enter are held only in memory and are never written to disk or transmitted anywhere.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
• Post the updated policy to the same URL referenced in the Google Play Store listing.
• For significant changes, provide notice within the app on the next launch.

Your continued use of VPN Proxy after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
